Patch.com: Senator Ron Johnson Meets with Local Media During Hudson Visit

Freshman Republican U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson visited the River Channel studio in Hudson on Saturday morning to meet with members of the local media. It's been almost a year since Johnson defeated Democrat Russ Feingold to become our senator. This was his first meeting with the local media since the election.

Attending the event and asking questions were Will Ashenmacher from the Pioneer Press, Doug Stohlberg from the Hudson Star-Observer and Micheal Foley from Hudson Patch.

Questions covered jobs, the economy, social security, Medicare, foreign policy, the Scott Walker recall effort, the St. Croix River Crossing project, what it's like to be a freshman senator and more.
