Latvijas Reitingi: U.S. senators will visit Latvia
Tomorrow, U.S. senators Jon Kyl, Ron Johnson, Jeff Sessions and Mike Crapo will be on an official visit to Latvia, LETA was informed by the Saeima Press Service.
Within the framework of the visit, the senators will meet with Saeima Speaker Solvita Aboltina (Unity) to discuss bilateral relations between Latvia and the United States, Saeima's cooperation with the U.S. Congress, security and defense policies, including the situation in Afghanistan and the transit of U.S. non-military cargo through Riga Port.
The meeting will be held at 12:40 p.m. and will be followed by a press conference at 1:50 p.m.
