Senator Ron Johnson (WI) today called on Senate Democrats to introduce a budget resolution:

"As a manufacturer, I realize that in order to produce anything, you have to have a process that is in control. Washington is obviously out of control. This helps explain why the Democrats have not even produced a budget - which they were obligated to do by April 15.

"Our deficit for this year will be approximately $ 1.5 trillion. The fact that President Obama and the Democrats who control the Senate have not put forward a responsible budget is not only disappointing - it is alarming.

"Our nation's fiscal situation is urgent. It is time for the Democrats to get serious."
