The Lakeland Times: Republicans celebrate Lincoln-Reagan Day

This past Sunday, 225 Oneida County Republican faithful came together to celebrate Lincoln-Reagan Day during a party luncheon in Minocqua.
Lincoln-Reagan Day is an annual fundraiser organized by area Republican parties to celebrate the conservative ideals put forth by presidents Ronald Reagan and Abraham Lincoln.
This year's keynote speaker, Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice David Prosser, spoke to the audience about the recount process in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race and the importance of the Republican Party in support of his re-election campaign.
In addition to Prosser, attendees heard remarks from Congressmen Sean Duffy (7th District), Reid Ribble (8th District) and Sen. Ron Johnson. District Assemblymen Tom Tiffany (35th District) and Dan Meyer (34th District), in addition to Northwoods Patriots Tea Party founder, Kim Simac, also spoke to the enthusiastic crowd.
