Oshkosh, WI – Senator Ron Johnson (WI) released the following statement today in honor of the late Martin Luther King, Junior:

"Nearly five decades ago, Martin Luther King, Junior stood before the Lincoln Memorial and delivered one of the most influential speeches in American history. Decades later, that speech still moves millions of people around the world, who share Reverend King’s dream of a world of freedom and justice, where people are judged not by the color of their skin, but the content of their character.   As we salute Doctor King and his legacy, let us commit to working to deliver on his vision of a nation of freedom and justice, and where prejudice is a distant memory.
