Washington, D.C. - Senator Ron Johnson (WI) released the following statement regarding S. 1134, the St. Croix River Crossing Project Authorization Act, which was signed into law today: 

“I’m pleased that the President has signed the St. Croix River Crossing Project Authorization Act into law. This is a key bipartisan initiative that will enable the states of Wisconsin and Minnesota to invest in an important infrastructure initiative and encourage economic development in western Wisconsin, without new federal spending.

“I want to thank Senator Klobuchar for her leadership on this initiative, which would not have been possible without the work of Senators Kohl and Franken, and Representatives Bachmann, Cravaack, Duffy, and Kind.”
