Wisconsin Ag Connection: Sen. Johnson Announces Staff Farm Bill Listening Sessions

Wisconsin's newly elected U.S. Senator wants to hear from you about your thoughts on a proposed federal farm bill.

U.S. Senator Ron Johnson announced on Tuesday that his staff would be available for listening sessions in the coming weeks.

The Oshkosh Republican says there's debate on whether there will even be a new farm bill drafted, but wants the public to have their input in the process.

The dates and locations of the listening sessions are:

** May 7: Agricultural Research Station, Spooner - 9:00 a.m.

** May 7: Cornell City Hall, Cornell - 12:00 p.m.

** May 8: Fond du Lac County Farm Service Agency, Fond du Lac - 9:00 a.m.

** May 8: Calumet County Courthouse, Chilton - 2:00 p.m.

** May 8: Lafayette County Farm Service Agency, Darlington - 1:00 p.m.

** May 9: Loyal City Hall, Loyal - 10:00 a.m.

** May 9: Fennimore City Hall, Fennimore - 10:30 a.m.

** May 9: Juneau USDA Service Center, Juneau - 10:30 a.m.

** May 9: Green Lake County Farm Service Agency, Green Lake - 11:30 a.m.

** May 14: City Hall Plaza, Marshfield - 9:00 a.m.

** May 14: Farm Service Agency Service Center, Jefferson - 9:00 a.m.
