Washington, D.C. - Senator Ron Johnson (WI) released the following statement today upon learning of the passing of Neil Armstrong:

"As a boy of 14, I vividly remember watching Neil Armstrong's  'one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.'  It remains a towering example of man's quest for knowledge and spirit of adventure.

"It should remind all of us what America is capable of when we aspire to
achieve and refuse to be bound by limitations.

"Neil Armstrong will be missed, his footsteps difficult to follow, but his footprint will never be forgotten."
