“The American people elected divided government. They want the President and Congress to work together to address the serious challenges facing our nation. They recognize that out-of-control government spending and debt is harming people and families today and mortgaging our children’s future.

“As Americans observe today’s inauguration, it is time to quit playing Washington politics and start acting responsibly to grow our economy and secure prosperity for future generations. As President Obama begins his second term, preventing the bankrupting of America should be his top priority.”
