Senator Johnson's Office Comments on Pay During Shutdown
Washington, D.C. – Senator Johnson’s office made the following comment today on his pay during the partial government shutdown.
“The federal government was shut down for 16 days. Today, Senator Ron Johnson sent a personal check for $7,627.40 to the Treasury to honor his promise to the voters of Wisconsin to return the congressional pay he received during the shutdown.”
