Senator Johnson Comments on New Obamacare Glitch
"The Obama administration announced Thursday that its planned insurance exchanges for small businesses won't be ready to accept online applications on Oct. 1, their opening day. This is just the most recent in a series of Obamacare delays from the White House.
"The government has already admitted it cannot yet verify applicants’ income for its complicated scheme of subsidies. It delayed its insurance mandates on big businesses because they’re unworkable. We learned last week that its software cannot accurately tell Americans what they’ll pay for coverage. Obama’s union allies are calling for a halt, employers are cutting the hours of thousands of workers, and insurers say premiums will rise sharply.
"Obamacare is a train wreck. Those aren’t my words. They were spoken by a lawmaker who wrote the plan. They’re the inescapable truth in every new report: This law is not ready for prime time. Americans now see the damage. President Obama and Congress must delay this law’s implementation before Obamacare does irreparable harm to our country."
