Senator Johnson Recognizes Hispanic Heritage Month

"I join over 55 million Hispanic Americans as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. This year’s national theme "Hispanics: Serving and Leading Our Nation with Pride and Honor" recognizes the rich contributions made by Hispanic and Latino Americans throughout Wisconsin and the United States. The Hispanic community has had a profound and positive influence on our communities through their strong commitment to family, faith, and hard work. We celebrate the generations of Hispanic Americans who have reached the highest levels of government service, the armed forces, education, corporate entrepreneurship, non-profit leadership, sports and the arts to positively influence and enrich our state and nation. I encourage communities across Wisconsin to observe this month with ceremonies, activities, and programs in celebration of the histories, cultures and contributions of Hispanic Americans."
