Johnson to Hold Public Town Hall at UW Green Bay
WASHINGTON — Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) will hold a public town hall meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. Details are below.
Sen. Johnson said this in anticipation of the event:
“I am looking forward to visiting the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay next week. It should be a great opportunity to listen to students, faculty, and other members of the community and answer any questions they may have. Students are preparing themselves to build a successful life for themselves and their families. They should be able to leave college full of promise and hope, reasonably assured that opportunity awaits. Unfortunately, growing personal and national debt threaten their future. Together, we must honestly assess and address the challenges facing America. If we do so honestly by concentrating on areas of agreement that unify us, the hard work and determination of young people at UW-Green Bay will help secure our country’s future.”
Time: 4:45 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.
Location: Christie Theater, University Union, 2420 Nicolet Drive, Green Bay
Note: This event is open to the press.
