Johnson Holds Border Security Roundtable
Chairman Johnson held his first Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (HSGAC) roundtable on Tuesday. Titled “Securing the Border: Biometric Entry and Exit at our Ports of Entry,” the roundtable followed five hearings Johnson and the committee have held over the past few months to examine security issues at America’s borders.
The more free-flowing discussion format of the roundtable was meant to help committee members learn more from the visiting experts. "I am hoping this will be a little bit more of an efficient process than a formal hearing," Johnson said during the roundtable. Watch the discussion here.
