Johnson Statement on Terrorist Attack in Nice
OSHKOSH – Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on Europe and Regional Security Cooperation, said this Thursday night after the deadly attack in Nice, France, apparently carried out by radical Islamic terrorists:
“My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and family members of this most recent terrorist attack in Nice. We must put an end to the root cause of these horrific attacks consistently claiming innocent lives around the world. Until we defeat ISIS, the very way of life that America and her allies enjoy hangs in the balance. I will continue to call on this administration to accomplish the goal it set 22 months ago: to defeat ISIS – once and for all.”
