The week started with President Trump signing a resolution authored by Sen. Johnson to roll back the so-called blacklisting rule, which blocked contractors from bidding on federal work for alleged labor violations, even without any proven wrongdoing.

"I applaud President Trump for signing my resolution with Rep. Foxx and Sen. Alexander to overturn the Obama administration's harmful, last minute blacklisting regulation. Repealing this rule is just one of many efforts we will undertake to provide the regulatory relief that is necessary to unleash the American economy so that it can realize its full potential."
