Sen. Johnson Joins Newsmax to Discuss the Democrats’ Failed Policies

OSHKOSH — On Thursday, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) joined Newsmax’s “Eric Bolling The Balance” to discuss Biden’s low approval rating among Americans and the harmful effects of his policies.

The interview can be found here, excerpts are below.

On Biden’s approval:

I can't imagine the American public would hire him [Biden] again, not based on his first eleven months of miserable performance.”

On inflation:

People need to understand that inflation is a form of taxation which is violating another one of President Biden's promises. He wasn’t going to tax anybody under $400,000, but everybody pays this tax and it is most harmful to the very people they purport to want to help – seniors living on fixed incomes and people on the lower end of our income scale.”

On Democrats’ failure on COVID-19 response:

“The response by the federal government to COVID has been a miserable failure. I don't know why anybody would continue to listen to the doctors, Fauci and Collins and Walensky. They're robbing our freedoms. 800,000 people dead. More people dead in 2021, the year we actually had the vaccines, than died during the initial year of the pandemic. We're not recognizing natural immunity. If we're going to test for anything, why don't we test for antibodies? We don't. We just won't admit that the vaccines still can allow infection and transmission of the disease, and yet they're pushing these freedom robbing mandates. Their response to COVID has been a miserable failure. Americans really ought to stop listening to them, and you've got to really take care of yourself. Where's the early treatment? That’s something completely missing. What's the point of testing? The horse is out of the barn. Omicron’s all over the place. Other than scaring people because the NIH guidelines are still go home, do nothing, until you get so sick you're in the hospital. I mean, what kind of response is that to COVID? We should be treating this disease early, so people don't have to go to the hospital. That has been a complete failure on the part of Fauci and Collins and Walensky and everybody in those healthcare agencies.”
