ICYMI: Johnson Talks Fake Russia Collusion Narrative, Mainstream Media Bias on ‘Fox News’
WASHINGTON – During an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News Tuesday, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) commented on the mainstream media’s bias toward Republicans and their repeated attempts to push a false narrative about Russian collusion.
A video of the interview can be found here, and excerpts are below.
“When you see the unequal administration application of justice and the law, that should frighten every American, and we’re continuing to see it. My latest episode had to do with a briefing I received. Apparently they were looking at giving Rudy Giuliani a similar briefing. I suspected at the time it was a complete set-up. Now I’m quite certain, based on how this was leaked to the Washington Post and other publications, that it was a complete set-up to, again, paint me as some kind of dupe of Russia — nothing could be further from the truth — and trying to destroy me politically. But that is what left does, and that is how the press cooperates with Democrat parties, which they are basically the communications shop of.”
“Democrats skate because the media is part and parcel of the Democratic Party. They will cover for them. They will explain problems away. Unfortunately our FBI, our Department of Justice, is equally biased and they are not administering justice equally in this country, and that should concern every American.”
