We've Lost a True Champion and Very Good Man

Joseph Project Loses Spiritual Leader

Senator Johnson and Pastor Smith

Pastor Jerome Smith has been called home by his Heavenly Father. So many lives, including mine, were enriched by knowing and loving such a good person. Pastor Smith was the spiritual leader and true force behind the Joseph Project. Together we saw the need and opportunity to transform lives, one person at a time.

The Joseph Project helped connect people to jobs, but the real insight was recognizing the transformational power of work, faith and community. I admired the way Pastor Smith connected with people, supported them no matter the day or hour, and offered tough love when necessary.

He believed the answers did not come from government, but from renewed faith and strengthened families. Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and America has lost a true champion and a very good man.

I truly hope that everyone at some point in their life gets to know someone like Pastor Smith.

Biden's Border Crisis

Graph of SW Border Apprehensions since Biden in office

Once again the Biden administration is lying to the public about the crisis it created at the border.

This week, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that the influx of immigrants at the southern border is "something that began during and was something that was exacerbated by the Trump administration."

This graph (above) on weekly apprehensions proves their dishonesty.

After the first 100 days of the Biden administration, on average over 5,900 migrants were apprehended PER DAY the last 28 days. That's a large caravan every single day, with no end in sight.

President Biden and Vice President Harris created the border crisis, are fully aware of the cruelty of human traffickers, and know their policies are facilitating the multibillion-dollar business model of some of the most evil people on the planet.

Wall Street Journal Defends Senator Johnson

Senator Johnson

Mainstream media should have long ago outed sources that lied to them about the false Russia colluded with Trump campaign narrative -- which was a hoax.

Will they do it now? Don't hold your breath. The dishonesty in much of mainstream media is impossible to overstate.

In the Wall Street Journal, the editoral board takes the Washington Post to task for its smear:

The story provided no details on the threat Mr. Johnson was supposedly warned about, or when, where or how he was supposedly compromised. The Senator told the Post that the FBI briefing last summer was so generalized as to be useless and unnecessary," especially because he was already "fully aware of the dangers of Russian disinformation."

VP Visits Milwaukee

Senator Johnson on WISN

Vice President Harris came to Milwaukee this week to sell another multitrillion-dollar plan by the Biden administration.

More than 70 percent of President Biden's so-called "infrastructure plan" will be spent on programs few would even consider infrastructure. It is interesting to see how Vice President Harris tries to justify this $2.25 trillion spending boondoggle. Instead of creating more opportunities, it will kill people's jobs, increase their taxes, and further implement radical leftists' agenda. Happy to have her visit Milwaukee, but she really ought to inspect the crisis President Biden created at the border.

Our country is $28 trillion in debt and on our way to $30 trillion or $32 trillion. We don't have an unlimited checking account. The fact of the matter is, we don't need the kind of spending that the Biden administration is looking for.
