Miserable Failure of the WHO

The WHO, along with our federal health agencies, failed miserably in their response to COVID-19. This failure should not be rewarded with a new international treaty that would increase the WHO's power at the expense of American sovereignty. I'm proud to reintroduce legislation to hold the WHO accountable for their failures and increase transparency for the American people.

The sovereignty of the United States is not negotiable. The No WHO Pandemic Preparedness Treaty Without Senate Approval Act would require any convention or agreement resulting from the work of the World Health Organization's intergovernmental negotiating body be deemed a treaty, requiring the advice and consent of a supermajority of the Senate.

After the Biden Administration's failed COVID-19 response and the WHO's mismanagement of the pandemic, Americans remain skeptical of continuing infringements on personal liberties and freedoms. The legislation would provide more transparency in WHO agreements and a constitutional check on the administration.

"New" Evidence of COVID Lab Leak

Evidence the COVID-19 virus was created/released from a lab has been obvious for years.

I'm skeptical "new" recently reported evidence surfaced. This is more likely an attempt by the Department of Energy to provide cover for themselves as the truth comes to light.

As I reiterated yet again in a Senate hearing this week, we need a full-fledged, Senate committee investigation into the origins of COVID-19. There should be nothing partisan about this.

Climate Change in the Budget Committee

As a new member of the Senate Budget Committee, it was fascinating to attend this week's hearing on climate change.

Climate has always changed and always will. No matter how much we spend, we won't be able to significantly change that fact. Better to spend limited resources adapting to and mitigating that reality.

Achieving Biden's goal of ending all fossil fuels in 10 years is impossible and would impoverish America. Anyone who believes we can is detached from reality and truly dangerous if they're in charge of policy and spending.

A recent article in Politico called me the senator President Biden loves to hate.

I have only spoken the truth about President Biden. Where is the mainstream media's outrage over the Biden family's business dealings with people connected to the Chinese Communist Party(CCP). Case in point: Does POTUS know about these bank records we shared with Hunter Biden prosecutors last October?
