The Profound Moral Issue of Abortion

Time for "We The People"

Sen. Johnson at Stand for Life press conference

June 24th marked the one-year anniversary of the Dobbs Supreme Court decision which turned the profound moral issue of abortion back to "We the People."

For 50 years that decision was made by nine unelected Supreme Court Justices. Now that the abortion question has been returned to the states, the time has come for the American public to work together, with compassion and an open mind, to resolve this issue.

My suggestion would be single-issue referendums in each state to decide, "at what point does society have the responsibility to protect the life of an unborn child?"

To me, it's obvious that life begins at conception, but that's not the relevant question.

Listen to my Dobbs anniversary press conference here.

Broad & Breathtaking Biden Family Corruption

Clay and Buck show graphic

I was on The Clay and Buck Show detailing the disturbing cover-up of Biden family corruption.

As shocking as that is, for years I've been saying there is a much larger story. The corruption inside our federal agencies and legacy media is extensive.

We need more whistleblowers to come forward and tell us the truth. That is the only way to restore integrity and credibility.

Invitation to Testify

LIV Golf

As ranking member and chairman of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, our subcommittee invited PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan, Public Investment Fund Governor Yasir al-Rumayyan, and LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman to testify at a hearing on July 11.

The hearing will examine the planned agreement between the PGA Tour and the Saudi Arabian government's Public Investment Fund regarding the future of the Saudi-funded LIV Golf and professional golf in the United States.

Fans, the players, and concerned citizens have many questions about the planned agreement between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf. I look forward to hearing testimony from the individuals who are in the best positions to provide insight to the public regarding the current state of professional golf.

Whole Milk at Schools

Milk automation

I joined a bipartisan group of senators in introducing legislation that amends the Richard Russell National School Lunch Act to allow schools participating in the program to serve whole milk as part of the National School Lunch Program.

The Dietary Guidelines for Americans reports that nearly 90% of Americans do not meet their daily dairy intake recommendations. This legislation expands healthy milk options in schools to improve our students' nutrition intake and will be a critical step in improving child nutrition health outcomes.

The dairy industry promotes a healthy diet in the same way that it promotes a healthy economy. Im happy to join this bipartisan group of legislators in cosponsoring this bill to bring flavored and unflavored whole milk back to our schools.
