Wisconsin Senators Recommend Candidates to the White House for Federal Judgeship on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin
WASHINGTON – U.S. Sens. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.) announced today their agreement to recommend to the White House two candidates for consideration to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
The candidates, Byron Conway and Marc Hammer, were recommended to the senators by the bipartisan Wisconsin Federal Nominating Commission that was established to provide recommendations for nominations for federal judicial positions and United States Attorneys in the jurisdiction of Wisconsin during the 118th Congress.
