Border Crisis in Wisconsin
U.S. Congress in Milwaukee
The House Judiciary Committee was in Milwaukee last week holding a field hearing to examine the effects of the current southwest border crisis on Wisconsin's residents and communities. I gave testimony about the history of the Biden/Harris administration's border crisis.
During the six years I was Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security committee, I held dozens of hearings on the border crisis. I encourage you to watch my testimony where I walk through the history of the charts I've been using for years to tell the story of how illegal immigration has gotten to this tragic point.

Manufacturing Month
During the month of October, we celebrate manufacturing. One in six Wisconsin workers are employed in manufacturing. It's the largest contributor to our economy. In honor of Manufacturing Month, I had the opportunity to visit Cardinal Manufacturing at Eleva-Strum High School in Trempealeau County. It's a company within a school, doing real world projects where students get first hand experience about all aspects of manufacturing and business. Check out this video from my visit.
One of the lead teachers at Cardinal Manufacturing is Tyson Rohrscheib. When he was a student at Eleva-Strum High School, he visited my Washington, D.C. office on a school trip to talk about program that he now helps lead. Congratulations, Tyson!
