2024 Year in Review

The 119th Congress is now underway. 2025 promises to be a year to unify and heal this nation with President Trump soon back in the White House. We have a lot of work to do. Taking a look back on my work in the U.S. Senate in 2024, you can see why. 

January 2024

The Biden Border Crisis is the top issue for Americans in 2024. In numerous press conferences and interviews, I warn the open border is a clear and present danger to America and the root cause is President Biden and his Democrat allies in Congress.

February 2024

I held another COVID-19 roundtable titled Federal Health Agencies and the COVID Cartel: What Are They Hiding? I met with a panel of experts to expose the truth about how the COVID Cartel – federal health agencies, Big Pharma, legacy media, and Big Tech – engaged in censorship and coverups. The four-hour discussion put a spotlight on the failures and corruption of the global elite and their institutions.

March 2024

Continuing the fight for transparency in government, as ranking member of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations I demanded a detailed explanation for why the Department of Health and Human Services continues to ignore a legal requirement to fully produce information relating to the origins of COVID-19. Since 2021, I have approximately 50 pages of heavily redacted documents. 

April 2024

Senate Democrats abdicated their constitutional duty and did great harm to the U.S. Senate by cavalierly dismissing the serious impeachment charges against Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. They did so, because they didn't  want the American people to see how disastrous their open border policy is. 

I confronted Sec. Mayorkas over his border catastrophe during a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing. I wanted him to answer this one simple question, “Why did you do it?”  It lead to this viral exchange. 

May 2024

On the Senate floor, I expose the Democrats’ charade of a border bill that didn't secure the border and was worse than doing nothing. It would have made processing and dispersing illegal immigrants more efficient. The Democrats were only negotiating for political cover.

June 2024

This was my reaction after the disastrous debate performance by President Biden that lead to him leaving the presidential ticket for reelection. 

“Clearly, President Biden is unfit for office. I’ve been saying that since 2020 as a result of Senator Grassley’s and my investigation into the Biden crime family. His mental and physical decline has been obvious throughout his presidency. To anyone who hasn’t been paying attention, last night should have been a wake-up call."

July 2024

Immediately following the July 13 assassination attempt against President Trump, I started investigating all federal agencies involved demanding a full explaination and complete transparency about this failure of security, My office produced the first timelineof events for that day. 

We also learned that President Trump turned his head to look at my immigration chart, a move that saved his life. Call it serendipity or divine intervention — it will obviously be an interesting footnote in history. God works in mysterious ways.

August 2024

This is not my first rodeo investigating federal agencies. They know how to slow-walk and stonewall Congressional oversight. Despite this, by the end of August my office produces an updated timeline of law enforcement's awareness of would-be assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, in the hours, minutes, and seconds, leading up to the attempted assassination of Trump at the campaign rally in Butler, PA. 

September 2024

In the same historic room as my February roundtable, I held another discussion this time focused on health, titled American Health and Nutrition, A Second Opinion. The purpose was to ask questions we haven’t been allowed to ask that impact our current state of national health. As the panelists detailed, the current state of America’s health is not good, even though our health care system spent $4.5 trillion in 2022, or more than $13,000 per person. 

October 2024

The House Judiciary Committee came to Milwaukee on October 24 for a field hearing to examine the effects of the southwest border crisis on Wisconsin's residents and communities. I gave testimony about the history of the Biden/Harris administration's disastrous border crisis.

November 2024

With a change of administration coming, I called on the Department of Health and Human Services, Food and Drug Administration, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to immediately preserve all records relating to the development, safety, and efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines. 

Also, I develop this new chart to show just how out of control spending is. We need to work toward fiscal sanity in 2025. 

December 2024

Republican Senators respect President Trump’s solid election victory. He earned the right to staff his administration with the people he knows will fight to implement his agenda. He will focus on the working men and women who built this country, will repair the damage done by Biden/Harris, and Make America Great Again.

I intend to support President Trump’s ability to staff his administration with people who will implement the promises he made.
